"Thor" fans hoping for another look at Loki are in luck. Actor Tom Hiddleston, who plays the Norse god of thunder's evil brother, has hammered out a deal to appear in five more films following this summer's 3-D blockbuster.

"I signed to play Loki in five more Marvel movies, but they were unspecified," Hiddleston tells Comicus. "So, if there will be more movies or not remains to be seen, but I like the idea of Loki turning up in the shadows when people least expect him."

One of Loki's likely films includes "The Avengers," the ensemble action flick in which Chris Hemsworth reprises his role as Thor. Considering the complicated relationship between the siblings, it's clear they'll have plenty of issues that need to be worked out.

"Loki and Thor are two brothers who have forever competed for their father's pride and affection, and Thor is the older brother," says Hiddleston. "Thor is the alpha male, and he is physically intense, he is the leader of the pack, he is stronger, more powerful, and quite clearly he is more headstrong… Loki is lighter, possibly weaker, and younger, but he is probably more intelligent. He's a better strategist and a master of magic and tricks. So I really think that the tension between them comes in that."

Hiddleston has seen the final edit of "Thor" and hails director Kenneth Branagh for his work. "The visual effects are absolutely breathtaking, beyond stunning," he says, adding that he looks forward to bringing Loki to life for future Marvel films.

"But," he says, "you never know [with] these things. The world changes and things change, but I feel like I know who Loki is, so I wouldn't mind."
