'Abduction' Trailer Is A High-Valued Asset

Okay, this looks pretty awesome.

Sigourney Weaver, Alfred Molina, Maria Bello and Jason Isaacs are in "Abduction" and are featured pretty prominently in the trailer, but you'll barely notice them. This looks to be Taylor Lautner's show all the way, and he's definitely a bona fide action star.

What's most striking is that there seems to be no trace of Jacob Black in Lautner's performance as Nathan, a teenager whose feelings of alienation of lack of identity lead to a full-throttle "Bourne"-style adventure in which he runs, jumps, performs all sorts of other stunts and has tense cell phone conversations with covert government operatives. Way to stretch those acting muscles along with all the other ones, Taylor!

Check out the trailer below, which Taylor introduced himself at MTV News. "Abduction" opens Sept. 23.
