Slash Your Way Into Four Clips from 'Scream 4'

Sequels to horror movies are kind of like rabbits reproducing -- they're just going to make more, and more, and more. It isn't unusual for rampant horror sequels to lack the quality of their frightfully good originals.

Thank goodness for the "Scream" franchise.  Wes Craven deviates from the madness with intriguing plots, dynamic performances from his veteran cast, and impeccable direction.

In "Scream 4," in theaters April 15, Sidney Prescott (the always-lovely Neve Campbell) is fresh off on her book tour, stopping in Woodsboro to reconnect with friends Sheriff Dewey and Gale (David Arquette and Courteney Cox, as always).

Naturally, Sidney's visit piques the interest of the Ghostface Killer, and the friends must survive his (or her) reign of murderous terror.

The franchise formula remains the same, and the results look like nothing short of classic frightful "Scream" delight. Before you come face-to-face with the killer at your cineplex, slash your way into these four clips from the movie.

1. Jenny (Aimee Teegarden) gets a call from Ghostface before someone comes crashing through her window. Come on, Ghostface, a good director knows how to yell cut!

2. Sidney and Dewey interview two girls who were contacted by Ghostface, along with their friend. Hmm, that girl is acting rather suspiciously, don't you think?

3. Sidney stumbles upon Jill (Emma Roberts) and Trevor (Nico Tortorella) before he climbs out the window. Sidney, if Jill reminds you of yourself, she's probably in trouble.

4. Gale talks with the boys of the Cinema Club and suggests they work together to find the killer. Damn Gale, you know better than to trust two quiet movie buffs during Ghostface rampages. What's wrong with you?!
