In the latter-half of the '90s, the horror movie scene was utterly redefined by "Scream," Wes Craven's sexy play on Agatha Christie's old chestnut, "Ten Little Indians." The potent mix of suspense and meta-horror inside jokes made it a masterpiece of self-awareness as teens got sliced-and-diced by Ghostface until only a handful remained.

Craven followed with two equally jovial sequels, which reveled in turning slasher film rules on their head.

With "Scream 4" now coming to theaters, we're prepping you for the latest bloodfest by honoring the victims of all-three "Scream" movies with obituaries. Respectful obituaries.
