While not quite the "Step Brothers" sequel some of us have been waiting for, the rumor of a Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly rap album -- as their characters Brennan Huff and Dale Doback, no less -- should be more than enough new sibling rivalry tinged comedy to please die hard fans.

The news came from the film's director Adam McKay, whose recent tweets covered that particular property.

"Are we currently working on a Step Bros rap album? Yup," he wrote.

A few tweets later, McKay added, "I wasn't kidding about Step Bros rap album. And we just found out we have a crazy big time producer. Mos Def, you up for a guest flow?"

But you won't be able to pre-order the album, at least, not yet. While McKay's word is good enough for us, the project remains unconfirmed by the higher up brass.

To cut the pain of waiting for old fans and introduce the hilarity of nautical hip to new ones, enjoy the original - and so far only -- rap music video "Boats 'N Hoes" from Brennan and Dale, a.k.a. Prestige Worldwide's Huff 'N Doback.
