News flash: Christmas is coming.
Okay, so you probably thought you knew this already, but we're not talking about that big holiday where everyone buys each other a bunch of random knick-knacks and then gorges on candy canes and eggnog. No, we're talking about an entirely different Christmas -- "Arthur Christmas."
So just who is "Arthur Christmas," you ask? Well, according to the brand new teaser trailer released today, he's the son of Santa Claus -- and also the star of an eponymous animated comedy from Sony.
And like all good Christmas presents, "Arthur Christmas" has a little something for everyone, particularly if everyone happens to love British actors: the movie features voicework from stars such as Hugh Laurie, James McAvoy, Jim Broadbent along with "Harry Potter" stalwarts Bill Nighy and Imelda Staunton (that's Minister of Magic Rufus Scrimgeour and Professor Dolores Umbridge respectively, of course).
As for the story, well, why don't you just check out the teaser from Yahoo! Movies yourself and see. But don't expect to see "Arthur Christmas" under your tree this year; you're going to have to wait until next year's holiday season to check this out, because it doesn't arrive in theaters until November 23, 2011.
