At last, Taylor Lautner is officially on the run.
"Abduction" has Twi-hards almost as excited as they would be for a new 'Twilight" movie, and now we've finally been offered a first glimpse of Taylor's upcoming action-adventure -- and a little more details on what it's all about.
The first official still from "Abduction" gives us Taylor looking concerned, confused and more than a little exasperated. By his side is the lovely Lily Collins, who looks a bit befuddled herself.
What dastardly villains are causing them all this stress? We'll have to wait and see.
Meanwhile, Collider scored the official synopsis for the the film: "What would you do if you found your own picture on a missing persons website? Teen Nathan Harper (Lautner) finds himself facing this very dilemma. Setting out to uncover his real identity, Nathan quickly learns his parents are far from who they say they are. When the police, government agents and shadowy figures start to pursue him, Nathan's quest for the truth erupts into a full-blown 'Bourne'-like man-on-the-run thriller."
We love that they use the term "shadowy figures" without a trace of irony.
"Abduction" is directed by John Singleton and will open sometime in 2011. The very impressive cast includes Sigourney Weaver, Danny Glover, Alfred Molina, Michael Nyqvist, Maria Bello and Jason Isaacs.
