Next holiday season, all the secrets behind Santa's operation will be revealed.

Sony Pictures Animation is preparing to show us what really goes on at the North Pole with the 3-D animated fantasy adventure, "Arthur Christmas."

"Arthur Christmas" will paint a candid portrait of Santa's extended family, including his two sons, Arthur and Steve, and his cranky father, Grandsanta.  The film will also offer a never-before-seen look at the high-tech operation that allows Santa to deliver all of those presents in one night, according to Sony Pictures Animation's announcment.

The voice cast for "Arthur Christmas" has been revealed, with James McAvoy set to voice the youngest son, Arthur, the only member of the family not jaded by the holiday.  Hugh Laurie will play his hotshot older brother, Steve, and Jim Broadbent will voice Santa himself.

Meanwhile, the 136-year-old Grandsanta will be voiced by Bill Nighy, who may at one point ask his son, "Do you fear death?"

Nighy and Broadbent will be joined by fellow "Harry Potter" alum Imelda Stauton, as well as comic actress Ashley Jensen.

"Arthur Christmas" is set to come down the chimney on Nov. 23, 2011.
