How did the guy from Linkin Park end up in the latest "Saw" movie, anyway?

It's a good old-fashioned Hollywood story, actually: He had a friend who lived next door to the producer.

Linkin Park frontman Chester Bennington is reportedly a huge fan of the "Saw" movies, and it was just his luck when producer Mark Burg moved in next door to one of his bandmates, MTV News reports.

Before too long, the two got to be pals, with the LP bandmate revealing to Burg that Chester was a huge fan of the franchise. Burg then asked, "Well, do you think he'd want to be in one of the movies?"

You can get the whole story, as well as Bennington's take on the gruesome 3-D effects of the seventh "Saw" movie, at MTV.com.
