Now this is what we're talking about!
Colin Farrell and Keira Knightley have teamed up for a new action flick by the name of "London Boulevard" and, judging by the trailer, it looks to be a real rip-snorter.
Here's the skinny: Farrell plays a lowlife British gangster type who, just released from prison, decides he doesn't want to be a lowlife any more. In order to get out of the game, he gets a straight job as a personal bodyguard for Knightley's put-upon movie star. Needeless to say, she falls for the brooding bad boy.
Things go pear-shaped when one of his old associates decides to pull him back into a life of crime by forcing him to do one last dirty deed.
Not only does Farrell get to sport a cool Cockney accent while slugging a bunch of paparazzi in the noggin (talk about art imitating life -- that must have been a satisfying day on set for Farrell), but even better, the crime boss who drags him back through the mud is played by the ultimate expert in British thuggery, Ray Winstone, whose previous stints on the wrong side of the movie law include "The Departed" and "Sexy Beast."
