Jim Carrey is back in "Take Me Seriously (At Least Sort Of)" mode.
Carrey is trying his hand in the "dramedy" department again, following his critically acclaimed (though not as financially successful) turns in "The Truman Show" (1998), "Man on the Moon" (1999) and "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" (2004). And we like it.
Carrey's latest endeavor is "I Love You Phillip Morris," a film about a gay con artist who falls for a fellow prisoner during his time in jail. The movie has had a hell of a time sticking to a release date over the past year or so, but it looks like this time it's set in stone for this December.
It will be great to finally see this thing. Why? Because it looks great. Carrey and Ewan McGregor look like they're a comedy (or "dramedy," rather) team to be reckoned with (how often do you get to see the Riddler and Obi-Wan Kenobi play gay lovers?).

"I Love You Phillip Morris" opens Dec. 3.
