Sometimes dozens or even hundreds of actors will audition for a particular role. After all, being a movie star has its perks. Tons of money, red carpet events and adoring fans who want you to put your John Hancock everywhere.
But, as "Social Network" star Armie Hammer told MTV News, sometimes it's just a matter of being at the right place at the right time.
"They were looking for twins for a long time," said Hammer who played both the film's Winklevoss twins with the help of CGI magic. "I think I came along when they were starting to get desperate, and they were like, 'We just need someone who's 6'5,' and I'm like, 'I'm 6'5,' and they were like, 'Perfect!'"
Hopefully he landed double the paycheck, too. Check out MTV News to see Hammer talk more about his newfound glory, Oscar hype and getting free nuts.
