It's here, the moment we've all been waiting for, the announcement that will either launch a million dreams or cause a million tears: the official title of the upcoming Justin Bieber movie has been released. And the winner?
"Never Say Never."
The title, which was revealed with much fanfare along with the film's new poster via a viral campaign and a full-page announcement in USA Today, isn't a sly reference to the unauthorized 1983 James Bond movie "Never Say Never Again," but instead comes from one of Bieber's many infectiously addictive pop tunes.
And it also has a typically deep and thoughtful meaning, according to director Jon Chu: it's "the idea of every moment in his life."
Tru dat, Jon. Tru dat.
The announcement comes on the heels of the release of Bieber's new autobiography, "First Step 2 Forever: My Story," which chronicles the numerous ups and downs in Bieber's long 16 years of life. The film promises to explore every moment of Bieber's inspiring journey, including his well-publicized romantic exploits.
We know there are haters out there, but before you write this project off, do us a favor: check out this groovy new poster and then decide.
Because you might not think you want to see a Justin Bieber movie, but if there's one thing we've learned from his rise to fame, it's that you should "Never Say Never."
