We were going to insert a clever "You can't handle the truth" reference here, but we figured you already did upon reading the headline, dear reader.

Everyone remembers Tom Cruise and Jack Nicholson facing off and spewing rapid-fire Aaron Sorkin witticisms at each other in the 1992 courtroom drama, "A Few Good Men."  Now it looks like the two titans may reunite for a new tension-filled adventure.

24 Frames reports that Warner Bros. has made an offer to Nicholson to join Cruise in "El Presidente," an action comedy about a straight-arrow Secret Service agent assigned to protect a bumbling and degenerate ex-President.  The script was written by Daniel J. Goor, a writer for "Late Night with Conan O'Brien" and "Parks and Recreation."

Cruise is already attached to the role of the Secret Service agent, and if Nicholson accepts the role of the ex-President, you've got automatic movie magic.

You can handle that truth, can't you?

Yeah, it's impossible to resist.
