He's taken down evil dictators, faced off against rogue agents and even conquered an entire mountainside, but now Sylvester Stallone may be taking on the one '80s action star even bigger than himself: Bruce Willis.
This according to Sly's new Twitter feed, which last Friday featured a tweet to get the blood pumping… and potentially flowing across your movie screen.
"Had dinner with Bruce Willis last night," Stallone said in a short tease. "I want him in EXPENDABLES II as a super villain. What do you think?"
What do we think? What do you think we think, dude?
We think it's great, especially since we were just a wee bit bummed that Willis' much ballyhooed role in the first "Expendables" turned out to be just a short cameo. Having him on board as a full-time villain in the sequel would not only soothe that minor disappointment but also just about guarantee the sequel to have the same kind of box office success as the original.
After all, who wouldn't want to see a throwdown between Stallone and Willis?
That's not the only bit of info Sly has divulged about "Expendables 2," which he apparently is already hard at work on despite the fact that "The Expendables" has been in theaters for only three weeks. He's already scouting locations -- "what would be the most dangerous places in the world to set the sequel?" reads one tweet -- and discussing the possibility of bringing back "Stone Cold" Steve Austin for another go-round, an idea apparently floated by Willis himself.
Willis and Austin together in a bald brotherhood of evil? Now that's enough to send anyone's heart atwitter.
