Have those paper fans at the ready, ladies. Ryan Reynolds and Bradley Cooper are teaming up for what's sure to be an abs-olutely heart-racing action comedy.
The stacked stars are set to play San Francisco pals and cops whose fathers were once partners on the force. The dads eventually get pulled out of retirement to help their sons crack a case.
The untitled movie, written by "Up in the Air" scribe Sheldon Turner, takes an R-rated page from the "Lethal Weapon" playbook, according to the Hollywood Reporter's Risky Business blog.
Of course, this isn't the first time Reynolds and Cooper have shared something: DNA.
Sure, both were on the shortlist for the "Green Lantern" gig Reynolds eventually scored, but, Cooper swapped spit with Reynolds' wife, Scarlett Johansson, in 2009's "He's Just Not That Into You."
The team-up's new vehicle has been kicking around Hollywood for awhile, with Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson originally attached.
