Bebe Rexha Puts Her Own Sexy Spin On Fifth Harmony’s ‘Work From Home’

No tool belt required

Chances are, you know Bebe Rexha from one of the approximately 3,842 killer collaborations she’s lent her voice to, like “No Broken Hearts” with Nicki Minaj or “Hey Mama” with Nicki and David Guetta. Oh, and then there’s her smash single with G-Eazy, “Me, Myself & I,” which is currently sitting soundly atop the Billboard Hot 100.

There’s a reason why the 26-year-old is the common denominator in so many hits: Her stunning voice, which manages to be powerful, pretty, and wholly unique at the same time. That was never more obvious than when she busted out a cover of Fifth Harmony’s new pun-filled jam “Work From Home” during a visit to the SiriusXM studios on Tuesday.

“I love this song. It’s sexy and it’s cool. It’s sexy-cool,” Bebe said by way of introduction. Accompanied by just an acoustic guitar, she switches up the chorus ever-so-slightly and wisely leaves Ty Dolla $ign’s verse alone. It adds up to a cover that proves you don’t need a tool belt or a green leotard to make working from home sound sexy — all you need is one gorgeous voice.
