Jenna Dewan-Tatum And Channing Tatum Team Up For New Dance Competition Show

The king and queen of the dance floor are coming to TV

Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan-Tatum are the undisputed king and queen of the Hollywood dance floor, so it makes sense that the Tatums would eventually bring their talents, and their dancing shoes, to TV. Chan and Jenna are teaming up for a new dancing competition series on NBC, and we're already anticipating at least one choreographed routine for Mr. and Mrs. Tatum.

THR reports the network has ordered six episodes of the as-yet-untitled series. Starring Dewan-Tatum as a judge and mentor, the show promises a "fresh take on the dance competition genre." Meanwhile, the Magic Mike XXL star will executive produce through his company Free Association, and although Tatum is not yet confirmed to appear alongside his wife on the series, we don't see why he'd miss an opportunity for a dance-off.

The couple recently gyrated into our hearts on Spike's Lip Sync Battle when Jenna did her best Magic Mike and gave her man Chan a lap dance to Ginuwine’s classic sex jam "Pony." It was the definition of fire.

We can only assume the Tatums will continue to bring it on NBC because between the sexy dance-offs at industry after-parties and public displays of fierceness, Mr. and Mrs. Tatum know how to have a good time -- and if there's one thing network TV needs more of these days, it's fun. And sexy dance-offs. Well, mainly sexy dance-offs.

As the original Step Up OTP, it's no surprise that Chan and Jenna still know how to dominate on the dance floor and our TV screens.
