If you've never thought to yourself, "President Obama and French Montana are kind of alike," then, first of all, shame on you -- and you're like most people. But that's just because most of us don't know both Obama and French. Wale does. And he's here to teach us.
"I already knew Obama was a slick dude," he told Complex at SXSW, thinking back to meeting the president recently, when he was the opening act at the State of the Union in January. "He can maneuver through the room and make everybody -- he has this power. And it's something I really wish I could have. Because I tend to rub people the wrong way, obliviously.
"French Montana's a good room-mover; French Montana is comparable to Obama in that. He knows how to make people feel. I admire French for that."
And there you have it. Maybe we can get these two moving in a room together one day, just making everyone feel like a million bucks.
As for Wale, he says he's 80 percent done with his new album, Shine (which stands for Still Here Ignoring Negative Energy), that he hopes to drop a second album this year, too, and that he's producing the upcoming MMG project, Self Made 4.
