We already learned that Angelina Jolie doesn't shy away from a little bondage during her leather-clad scenes in "Mr. and Mrs. Smith," but there's a possibility she might be diving in whole hog to the BDSM experience, albeit behind the camera.
Deadline reports that Jolie is currently under consideration to lens the sexually hypercharged adaptation of E. L. James' erotic lit sensation"Fifty Shades of Grey" for Universal Pictures.
Apparently, the Universal brass really dug Jolie's star-crossed Bosnian War romance "In the Land of Blood and Honey," which contains a fair amount of explicit sex scenes itself. While no official dealmaking has taken place, and Jolie remains firmly committed to evildoing as the star of Disney's live-action "Maleficent," there have been some casual conversations put on the table.
Meanwhile, speculation is still raging about who could star as pervtastic billionaire, Christian Grey and his reluctant virgin submissive, Anastasia Steele. Whoever is brave enough to enter the "Red Room of Pain," including potential Grey actor Ian Somerhalder, will have to let their freak flag fly for some racy S&M athletics and onscreen nudity.
Perhaps having Jolie on set to supervise the fun and games will at the very least entice a few hunks into the project's fold?
