Eva Longoria Confirms Divorce From Tony Parker

Eva Longoria has confirmed the news of her divorce from NBA star Tony Parker.

"It is with great sadness that after 7 years together, Tony and I have decided to divorce," she said in a statement Wednesday. "We love each other deeply and pray for each other's happiness."

Privately, we're guessing the Desperate Housewives star is feeling anything but amicable toward her soon-to-be ex, who reportedly betrayed his wife by sending hundreds of secret text messages to another woman.

Us Weekly reports that Longoria recently discovered that her husband had been carrying on a relationship of sorts with a mutual friend of the couple. It's unclear whether Parker, 28, was having an actual affair, but he had been sending texts to another woman for almost a year.

Longoria stood by her man a few years ago when it was reported that he had cheated on her.

She filed for divorce Wednesday morning in Los Angeles Superior Court.
