It wouldn't be a Miss USA pageant without a little scandal, no?
Not so long after Miss California Carrie Prejean lost her crown over some topless photos, this year's pageant has its contestants rolling around in bed wearing lingerie and fishnets for an official photo shoot. Huh?
Donald Trump, who owns the Miss USA pageant, is defending the racy pics (of course), saying they're "a little bit sexy" but he has no problems with it.
"They [are] very artsy and very beautiful," he said.
Trump is no dummy. The man loves controversy and takes every opportunity to yap to the press. Just ask Rosie O'Donnell, Tara Conner and Bret Michaels.
Meantime, the Miss USA organization continues to make questionable decisions in its desperate bid to stay relevant, starting with hiring Heidi Montag as its entertainment in last year's Miss Universe pageant. Horrors.
