Elisabeth Hasselbeck apologized to Erin Andrews on The View Wednesday after typically sticking her foot in her mouth on that program the day before.
On Tuesday, The View co-host criticized Andrews for wearing skimpy costumes on Dancing With the Stars after being the unwitting subject of a nude video filmed through a hotel room peephole by a now-convicted stalker.
"In light of what happened ... I mean, in some way if I [was] him, I [would be] like, 'Man! I just could've waited 12 weeks and seen this -- a little bit less -- without the prison time!'" Hasselbeck said.
Andrews responded that she felt the remarks were "a slap in the face for victims of stalkers and victims of sexual predators." Her dancing partner -- and rumored love interest -- Maks Chmerkovskiy called Hasselbeck "jealous" and "stupid," while other Dancing stars rallied around Andrews.
Hasselbeck tearfully apologized for her remarks on The View Wednesday and said she had apologized to Andrews privately as well. We're guessing Hasselbeck won't be invited to compete on Dancing With the Stars anytime soon.
