NBC To Conan O'Brien: Your Move

How do you solve a problem like Jay Leno?

TMZ reports that Leno's late-night fate is now in the hands of his Tonight Show replacement, Conan O'Brien. Leno is reportedly reclaiming his former 11:35 p.m. timeslot after the Olympics finish airing on NBC. But what will that show look like?

It's up to Conan now. He's reportedly been given the choice of taking the 12:05 a.m. slot after Leno, or he can be released from his contract and pursue opportunities at other networks. If Conan stays, Leno gets a half-hour show. If he leaves, then Leno is back to hosting The Tonight Show.

TMZ adds that Conan is "pissed."
