It's official: Tina Fey is the hottest ticket in Hollywood. On the heels of her still buzzworthy appearance as Sarah Palin on Saturday Night Live comes confirmation that her NBC sitcom, 30 Rock, has landed Fey's dream guest star: Oprah Winfrey.
The talk show queen will appear on the Nov. 6 episode (just in time for November sweeps!), the network announced today. Oprah filmed her role last weekend, and best friend Gayle King told New York magazine that her scenes are "a hoot."
"Let me tell you, Tina Fey and Oprah Winfrey together is magic," she said. "It's great television."
I pretty much think Tina Fey period is great television, but if all these high-profile guest stars mean 30 Rock might actually get some decent ratings in its third season, then I'm all for it.
