10pm on Discovery: I can't explain my obsession with Everest: Beyond the Limit. I have zero interest in mountain climbing (well, maybe I'll get to Kilimanjaro some day). But I am drawn to stories about people willing to push themselves to extreme limits. Tonight the teams reach 24,500 feet, but it's hot up there because the sun is reflecting off the snow. The glare can get so bad that the roofs of the climbers' mouths can get sunburned. That's enough for me to never want to climb Everest. But I do think it'd be nice to have my own Sherpa, always running ahead to make things nice.
10pm on BRAVO: The Real Housewives of Orange County couldn't be farther from the top of Everest. However, some of their faces do look frozen stiff... me thinks it's a little too much Botox. That new wife... WOW, even when she's having a "very serious talk" with her 21-year-old son, her face is void of emotion! Tonight the new mom gets drunk off Jello shots. Classy.
9pm on ABC: Gloria Estefan is back on Dancing with the Stars after she had to postpone her scheduled performance in October to be with her mother during surgery. Tonight the Grammy winner is ready to take the stage. She will perform "A Bailar" from her latest album and "Conga" from the Miami Sound Machine days.
8pm on ABC: I think I'm going to tune into Cavemen just because I can't believe it's still on TV. Way to go guys!
