5. 3:10 to Yuma
I've said all that can be said about this Yuma deal. But what I want to see more of is the hybrid Western/Comedy. I'm talking Maverick here. Or Wild Wild West, but minus the giant spider. Okay, okay, if you need some Yuma knowledge how is this fun fact: It's made around 30 percent of its budget back. So it's doomed financially unless it pulls as Oscar nomination.
4. Eastern Promises
I don't have much interest in seeing this due to the violence level. I'm like Europe in that sense, sexuality is much more acceptable in Laremy's personal MPAA.
3. The Brave One
This should face a pretty steep drop as audiences wander out of it thinking, "Hmmm, is there any chance I can get my eight bucks back?"
2. Good Luck Chuck
I think the trailer has really hurt this one. I don't think people are opposed to Jessica Alba and Dane Cook per se, it's more that they are opposed to comedies where the premise itself is extremely unfunny.
1. Resident Evil: Extinction
It's going to win in a big way. And I'm not even upset about it. The trailer looks pretty fun actually. And many times, when I'm walking away from a poker table in Vegas, I'm dreaming of a day when the entire place is overrun by zombies.
Check back with MaryAnn on Monday. She'll have the correct numbers, promise.
LaremyLegel.com, decent predictions since 2007.
