Jessalyn Gilsig Gets Another Dramatic Gig on TV

Is it just me or is Jessalyn Gilsig suddenly everywhere?

The actress appeared in the botched pilot for The Apostles, turned up on Heroes as Claire's pyrokinetic birth mother, and co-starred on Nip/Tuck. Not to mention her role on David E. Kelley's Boston Public, to boot.

So what is Gilsig up to now? NBC has cast her as a regular in drama pilot Backyards and Bullets, formerly known as The Watch (though depending on the news outlet, I've seen it referred to using both titles).

In the pilot, which revolves around a deadly Neighborhood Watch group that has turned keeping an eye on the community into full-blown vigilantism, Gilsig will play the wife of Matthew St. Patrick's character.

She joins the already cast Billy Burke, Kristen Lehman, Abigail Spencer, Richard Ruccolo, Enuka Okuma, and Casey LaBow.
