8 pm: Ugly Betty.
It's Televisionary's favorite new show. On tonight's episode ("Derailed"), Daniel reunites with a former college classmate he stood up on a date (guest star Lucy Liu, in a two-episode stint) who has since become a rather powerful lawyer, while Betty finds a friend in a visitor she meets in the canteen. This being sweeps, imagine something big to happen, though how they could top the Mystery Woman being Alex Meade, I'm not sure.
8 pm: My Name is Earl.
On tonight's episode ("The Birthday Party"), Earl celebrates his birthday and reflects on the items he's successfully crossed off his list this year. While I might just be crossing Earl off my TiVo Season Pass list if it doesn't suddenly get better.
8:30 pm: The Office.
Over on The Office ("Business School"), it's finally here! The episode we've all been waiting for, as Buffy the Vampire Slayer creator Joss Whedon directs The Office (a story broken in the media by yours truly). In this episode, Michael agrees to give a presentation at Ryan's business school, while back at the office, Dwight must deal with a bat that has gotten loose inside the Dunder-Mifflin offices. Joss Whedon plus a bat? I am SO there.
9 pm: Scrubs.
Finally! Scrubs is back on NBC's schedule, where it belongs. On tonight's episode ("My Perspective"), J.D. begins to faint and blackout, while Elliot and Turk debate over who has to care for a humdrum resident.
9:30 pm: 30 Rock.
I can't get this show off of my mind grapes. On tonight's episode ("The C Word"), Liz decides she needs to be more laissez-faire with the staff of TGS, while Jack regrettably decides to take Tracy to a corporate event. As Isabella Rossellini might say, damn it, Johnnie.
