You can't deny that Kim Kardashian has huge, real-world impact -- but if you disagree, you should probably see this gigantic tribute to her someone just created and get back to me.
In addition to being the de-facto lead of the Kardashian Klan, Kim K can steer national conversation with her social media accounts alone. That's why when she tweeted a nude selfie to her 41.8 million Twitter followers, it caused a litany of reactions, jokes, and comments simply by presenting a (censored) nude with the caption, "When you're like I have nothing to wear LOL."
Now, a mural by Melbourne-based artist Lush Sux enters the conversation, making a bold statement -- and how could it not? It's a staggering 30 feet tall. The mural has been painted on the side of a Cremorne, Australia print shop and commands as much attention as Kimmie herself.
As one could expect, reaction from local residents has been mixed. One woman told local news station 3AW that "nobody had been consulted about the mural being painted," while another woman clearly loves the giant painting, even going so far as to strip down in public to imitate the selfie.
No statement from Kim about the mural as of yet, but we're fairly sure she would approve of her impact reaching all the way from America to Australia. 🍑
