Cara Delevingne has made it pretty clear that she's shifting her focus away from the fashion world and turning it toward Hollywood. And while she's made some serious strides, she still might not be completely done with modeling. In an essay for Time, Cara wrote about her experience as a young model and why she finally decided to take a break.
"It took a while before I had stability in the business," she wrote. "I worked hard to be accepted by the fashion community in ways beyond my physical appearance. In no time, though, I found myself surrendering to the industry’s approval process. I felt like I needed validation from everyone. As a result, I lost sight of myself and what it meant to be happy, what it meant to be successful."
Cara's been open about her personal struggles while working in the fashion industry, but she now seems more open to the idea of getting back into it -- if she can find the time between movies, that is.
When a fan on Twitter asked her if she missed modeling, she admitted, "Actually I do, but most of all I miss my friends! But don't worry, it's not the end ; )." She's already been hanging out at Chanel fashion shows and even recently made a brief appearance for Chanel eyewear. We have a feeling that if Cara makes her catwalk comeback, it will be for one Karl Lagerfeld.
