Ariana Grande Is A Self-Deprecating Sport In Her ‘SNL’ Promo Vid

'Enunciation isn't my forte.'

When Ariana Grande performs on Saturday Night Live this weekend, she’s expected to treat fans to the first live performance of at least one song from her upcoming album, Dangerous Woman. But the 22-year-old is pulling double duty by also hosting the show -- and no one quite knows how her host skills (or possible lack thereof) will pan out.

Thankfully, a new promo vid for the episode offers a short but promising glimpse at Ari’s comedic capacity. She’s paired with SNL cast member Taran Killam for the clip, which finds them lounging on a top floor of 30 Rockefeller Plaza, admiring the view. The pint-sized star gamely pokes fun at her petite frame with a requisite joke about Starbucks cup sizes, and then points to her home in the sky: a cumulus cloud, apparently.

But the funniest bit arrives at the end, when Killam mistakes her “Problem” lyrics for a song entirely about preparing for the prom. “Enunciation isn’t my forte,” Ari admits before listening to his completely off-base rendition. It’s painful, but in the end, she "can fuck with it though."
