There must be something in the water lately, because kids are coming up with the best responses to extra credit test questions. Seriously, why wasn't I that clever as a child?
The question was straight-forward, no funny business: What is the capital of Canada? The short answer is Ottawa, but this kid decided to take the scenic route to get to his answer.
If you can't make out the words, the student wrote,
Of course I know the capital of Canada. It's a great country. It's really great. Everyone wants to know what the capital of Canada is. And you know what I tell them? I tell them that we have a foolproof plan for naming the capital of Canada. And that's why we're going to be the best at naming the capital of Canada. #MakeCanadaGreatAgain
Well done, kid. Well done. It's not everyday people can poke fun at a certain presidential candidate (*cough* Donald Trump *cough*) AND get the extra credit point without actually answering the question.
Unfortunately, not every kid who tries this ends up getting the mark. Here's a look at some students who had badass answers, but didn't make the grade.
Sometimes, honesty isn't always the answer.
For real though.
Keep your opinions to yourself.
And if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all.
