The first trailer for Game of Thrones Season 6 was decidedly underwhelming. The only purpose it served was to troll viewers and book readers alike -- after all, the HBO's sixth season is heading into uncharted territory. It also seemed to be spouting the same old, macabre theme: valar morghulis. Thankfully, HBO has remedied their mistake with a full-length red band trailer chock-full of new footage.

Bran is walking (and possibly warging) in front of the Night's King! Cersei declares war on the High Sparrow and King's Landing's emerging religious sect! Davos heads into battle! Daenerys is looking wonderfully unkempt and uncomfortable again, which is a delightful reminder that the boring old days of Meereen are finally over! Well, not for Tyrion, who's saying ominous things like, "You’re in the great game now, and the great game is terrifying," while still in the hellhole known as Slaver's Bay.

Oh, and there's even a blink-and-you-miss-it flash of Jon Snow's beautiful, stone-cold corpse set to a ~ chilling ~ cover of Chris Isaak's "Wicked Game."

YOU'RE NOT FOOLING ANYONE, SNOW. Poor, broken-hearted Melisandre is obviously going to resurrect you.
