Lady Gaga Confirms She'll Be Back For American Horror Story Season 6

Oh my Gaga.

Fresh off her Golden Globe win and universally praised Oscars performance, Lady Gaga announced that she's teaming up with Ryan Murphy yet again for the upcoming season of American Horror Story.

Gaga took home the Golden Globe for Best Performance by an Actress in a Limited Series or Motion Picture Made for Television for her striking role as the Countess in last season's American Horror Story: Hotel. The talented multi-hyphenate confirmed that she'll be back for more AHS this season on Friday (March 4) during a morning radio interview with Z100 New York, adding, "I can't promise you how, or when, or anything like that."

Details about the FX series's sixth installment are sparse, and there's currently no word on whether Gaga's involvement will be as a series regular, but co-creator Murphy did confirm that Season 6 will be less opulent than its predecessor. So it's unlikely that we'll get another "jawline for days" improvised moment from Gaga.

"The next thing we’re crafting up is very, very different than this," he told EW last August. "Not smaller. But just not opulent. More rogue and more dark."

Murphy also revealed that he and his writing team are considering doing two installments of the popular anthology series this year. "Next year we might do a fall American Horror Story and a spring," he said. "We have to decide."

As for the oft-discussed timeline, FX President John Landgraf revealed the TCAs in January that the new season will be "set in the present [with] echoes of the past... It's set in two time periods."

Cryptic, much?
