11 Ways Fuller House And Game Of Thrones Are The Exact Same Show

All right, now hear us out.

Fuller House, a feel-good family show, and Game of Thrones, an all-out brawl between royal families, seem like they'd be worlds apart — from one end of the TV spectrum to the other.

Except, if you take a closer look at the two shows, you'll be surprised to see they both share plenty of similarities. We've rounded them up below.

Everywhere you look, winter is coming.

  1. At the core of both shows, they're all about family.
    Robert Trachtenberg/Netflix / HBO

"Family before everything" is the obvious mantra for both shows.

  2. Both have thirsty AF guys.
    Netflix / HBO

Steve Hale (Scott Weinger) definitely wins the "thirsty" stalker guy award, and almost every dude on GoT is just biding their time between women, always wanting more. *Ahem* Looking at you, Littlefinger (Aidan Gillen).

  3. And involve a boy and his pup.
    Netflix / HBO

Max Fuller (Elias Harger) is BFFs with his puppy, Cosmo, and Jon Snow (Kit Harington) has his dire wolf, Ghost.

  4. There are reunions with childhood pals.
    Netflix / HBO

Stephanie (Jodie Sweetin) reunited with her "husband" Harry Takayama (Michael Sun Lee), and Littlefinger met up with Lysa Arryn (Kate Dickie) and Catelyn Stark (Michelle Fairley).

  5. And adultery.
    Netflix / HBO

Fernando (Juan Pablo Di Pace) cheated on Kimmy Gibbler (Andrea Barber), while Ned Stark (Sean Bean) cheated on Catelyn.

  6. People always seem to forget about the baby of the family.
    Netflix / HBO

It's a good thing both Tommy Fuller Jr. (Dashiell and Fox Messitt) and Rickon Stark (Art Parkinson) can handle themselves, because their families both seem a tad preoccupied with dating, survival, and other children to pay them much attention.

  7. There are sons being bailed out of bad situations by their mothers.
    Netflix / HBO

Jackson Fuller (Michael Campion) finds himself in a Mexican wrestling match, prompting DJ to jump in and save her son. Robb Stark (Richard Madden) keeps doing stupid things as his army's leader, which forces Catelyn to try and undo all the damage he's done.

  8. And people tragically dying in fires.
    Netflix / HBO

DJ Tanner-Fuller's (Candace Cameron Bure) firefighter husband Tommy died in the line of duty before Fuller House began. GoT had Shireen Baratheon (Kerry Ingram) burned at the stake by her own father.

  9. Both have guys who are awkward around girls.
    Netflix / HBO

Jackson isn't the smoothest around Lola (Ashley Liao), but he does get better. The same can be said for Sam Tarly (John Bradley) and Gilly (Hannah Murray) on GoT.

  10. And girls who don't take crap from guys.
    Saeed Adyani/Netflix / HBO

When DJ didn't get the promotion she rightly deserved, she didn't stick around and just suck it up; she made her move. Stephanie and Kimmy also held their own ground, raising their kids/nephews without men's help. Arya Stark (Maisie Williams) stood up for herself whenever The Hound or any other man on GoT tried to tell her what to do and how to do it.

  11. The patriarchy thinks it's in control, but we all know it's the matriarchy that rules the game.
    Michael Yarish/Netflix / HBO

Sorry, boys. You may believe you're the head honcho, but you'll both meet your demises, one way or another. Who run the world? (Hint: girls.)
