Hailee Steinfeld’s Two Biggest Fans Covered ‘Rock Bottom,’ Then Got To Hang With Her

They played Escape The Room and took goofy pics, like you're supposed to.

Hailee Steinfeld's new DNCE-infused song, "Rock Bottom," has already gotten quite the treatment. First, Hailee dropped the lyric vid, then belted out the jam with a pink-haired Joe Jonas at ABC's Oscars after-party (her old stomping ground).

Last week, Hailee upped the ante, inviting fans to cover "Rock Bottom" via iHeartRadio and YouNow, a live social network that connects audiences and broadcasters in real time. The winner, as per the rules, would receive a personal meet-and-greet with Hailee in New York City. High stakes, man. Real high.

The winner(s) ended up being sibling duo Joel and Monica, who beat out scores of other singers and performers with their take on "Rock Bottom" -- and yesterday, the pair flew to New York to play Escape the Room with Hailee, which sounds easily 100 times better than any other boring meet-and-greet situation could be.

  • First, there were hugs.
  • And then, smiles. Of course.
  • And then mirror poses, obviously.
  • And then a new prof pic. Because yeah.

Maybe next time they can extend an invite to Joe Jonas and his fuchsia 'do?
