Adele kicked off her 25 tour in Belfast, U.K. on Monday night, and for two of her fans, it was a night they’ll never forget.

Romance was in the air at the SSE Arena, even though Adele herself noted that her songs can get “a bit depressing."

The “Hello” singer invited a fan onstage to help her out with a well-timed marriage proposal. The fan had popped the question to her boyfriend already, but he was mulling it over during the show. That wasn’t good enough for Adele, who led the crowd in a chant of “come on Neil!” to get him to give a definitive answer: “You have to say yes, bruv!"

When Adele tells you to get engaged, you get engaged — no question. Neil said “yes."
