Lady Gaga and her fiancé Taylor Kinney shut down the Oscars red carpet -- before the big show even had a chance to begin. The couple #blessed us with their glowing presence at the 88th Academy Awards Sunday (February 28) night.
Could they possibly be any cuter?
Any any happier to be at the Oscars? Let me repeat: Taylor Kinney is at the Oscars -- and he's so happy.
Gaga is nominated for Best Original Song for her emotional ballad against sexual assault, "Til It Happens to You," co-written by herself and Diane Warren for the 2015 documentary The Hunting Ground. She'll take to the stage later tonight to perform the song.
"It's such an important song for me," Gaga told ABC on the carpet. "One in five women will be raped before they graduate college... It's something that is deeply connected to my heart. I am, myself, a survivor."
During the ceremony, Gaga posted an intimate, behind-the-scenes photos of her and Kinney. She thanked her partner, writing, "I never thought anyone would ever love me because I felt like my body was ruined by my abuser. But he loves the survivor in me."
The Golden Globe-winning pop star is the frontrunner to take home Oscar gold tonight, and if Gaga does cinch the victory, expect her and Kinney to have one unforgettable night.
