The 1975 Go Head-To-Head With Their Critics In 'The Sound' Video

SRY H8ERs.

The past 24 hours have been full of glorious, glorious things for fans of The 1975. There is, of course, the band's brand new album, I Like It When You Sleep, for You Are So Beautiful Yet So Unaware of It, but on top of that — as if we needed anything more, TBH — they released a video for "The Sound."

The video features the quartet performing in a clear box, which looks like an Apple store but is, in fact, not. People slowly trickle in to watch them and then begin offering up critiques like "Is this a joke?" and "Unconvincing emo lyrics," which, let's be real, make the best AIM away messages, so... get some better burns, please, critics.

Sorry, MTV, but I can't do any other work today DUE TO THE FACT THAT I HAVE TOO MUCH 1975-CENTRIC STUFF TO LOOK AT AND LISTEN TO, OK?
