'Scream Queens’ Star Diego Boneta Channels Ryan Gosling In ‘Ur Love’ Music Vid

The actor/singer's new vid is more seductive than the Red Devil.

Long before Diego Boneta was heating up your TV screen as Pete Martinez on Scream Queens, he was a bilingual crooner with a fledgling music career to his name. In October, Boneta debuted the retro pop-rock single “The Hurt,” and now he’s back with ‘80s-leaning jam “Ur Love.”

For the synth-heavy track’s accompanying music video, Boneta took stylistic inspiration from Ryan Gosling’s 2011 flick Drive. “I have always been a big fan of the movie Drive and the style of the music video truly represents who I am as a person and artist,” Boneta told Latina magazine. “I am very happy to share another side of me in that seductive song.”

No, he doesn’t resurrect Gosling’s badass bomber jacket with the scorpion on the back, but he DOES channel that spirit of invincibility you get when you’re aimlessly cruising around late at night. But, like most things in life, that’s a feeling best shared with someone else... and he thankfully manages to find a free spirit to soak up the night with.
