Kanye West Defends Bill Cosby On Twitter

This is not a good look for Kanye.

With his new, as-yet-untitled album and Yeezy Season 3 collection dropping in just two days, Kanye West has all eyes on him. Unfortunately, he’s using that attention to cause yet another unflattering mess on Twitter.

On Tuesday (Feb. 9), Kanye tweeted “BILL COSBY INNOCENT !!!!!!!!!!,” seemingly defending the comedian who’s currently embroiled in a serious sexual assault investigation.

In the past year, more than 40 women have come forward claiming they’ve been abused by Cosby. The 78-year-old actor was arrested in December and is currently facing criminal charges over the alleged drugging and sexual assault of Andrea Constand. He faces a maximum of 10 years in prison.

Kanye recently referenced Cosby in his track “Facts,” rapping, “Do anybody feel bad for Bill Cosby?/ Did he forget the names just like Steve Harvey?”

Fresh off a heated exchange with Wiz Khalifa and Amber Rose, Kanye has been especially active on Twitter lately. And while some of that activity has been playful -- like the recent challenge to decode his new album title -- it’s unsolicited comments like this that prove 'Ye might need to take a social media vacation (or, better yet, take a page from Beyonce's playbook and just never tweet). Because this is one social media screw-up you can't blame on North West.
