Instagram Has Given Super Users The Update They've Been Waiting For

This has been a long time coming.

If you're a serious Instagram user, you may have more than one account -- one for snaps of yourself and your friends, and one (or more) for a separate interest. MTV's own Adam Fleischer has a separate account for his cutie of a dog -- which makes sense because she totally deserves it.

Lucky for Adam, Instagram just updated the app to allow a single person to run multiple accounts at the same time, which means so much more of this face in our lives:

"Starting this week, you can quickly and easily switch between multiple accounts on Instagram!" Instagram said on its blog. By the end of this week, all Insta users will be able to enter account settings, tap on their username, and switch accounts. ?

"Once you have multiple accounts added, you’ll see your profile photo appear in places throughout the app so you can always tell which one you’re using at the moment."

The update comes after users have turned to third-party apps like Instwogram and Instapload for managing their accounts -- but now, they can post their pup's pics from the comfort of their own Instagram account. ?
