Rihanna may be all about “work, work, work, work, work, work” on her electric first ANTI single, but crafting the track was way more playful than you’d probably expect.
On Monday, Rih shared a candid behind-the-scenes vid of her working on “Work.” The clip is pretty brief -- and there’s no Drake cameo, unfortunately -- but it does give us a glimpse of the chill atmosphere she and her crew maintain in the studio. We see Rih (dressed casually in fringed gray sweatpants and a matching gray sweatshirt) blaze up, sip red wine and laugh with her friend, who tries (and fails) to mimic the song’s hook. “This feels real good,” the friend tells her about the track. No arguing there.
While there’s still no word on a premiere date for the “Work” music vid, fans have been circulating a pic of Rih and Drake with Director X, who also helmed Drizzy’s “Hotline Bling.”
In short clips from her Snapchat, Rihanna rocks the same multicolored mesh dress while dancing in a dimly lit club as “Work” plays in the background.
Soooo… when are you going to stop teasing us and drop the vid already, Rih?!
Right. Point taken.
