But still, the garbage opinion remains that somehow it's inherently feminine to give your face a pick-me-up with a bit of concealer or an eyebrow pencil.
Those people must not think any action stars, international journalists or sports commentators are masculine then, because they're all wearing makeup on camera. #bloop
With that in mind, BuzzFeed series The Test Friends had three men try wearing a little bit of makeup for a week to see if it improved their lives in any way.
While all three guys became frustrated with the time it takes to apply concealer, work a brow pencil and dab on beard filler (who knew that was a thing?!), they did notice their confidence shift in a positive way by the end of the experience.
"I think there is a stigma behind makeup," a participant, Curly, said in the video. "But, I think there's something very empowering about putting on a little bit of warpaint, if you will." ?
