I’m not sure there’s anything that excites 50 Cent these days more than the chance to engage in a beef on the battlefield of Instagram. The dude goes at Puffy, Floyd Mayweather, Rick Ross and just about anyone else that attempts to cross him, blending his specific blend of jokes, memes, baiting captions and promotional hashtags.
The latest on the receiving end of the Insta-hate is Meek Mill, who came at 50 on his track “Gave ’Em Hope” over the weekend. The two have been engaged in a digital battle ever since — though Meek has stopped posting responses. 50, on the other hand, has not. Like his latest, Wednesday morning (Jan. 20).
Some other highlights from Fif’s recent onslaught include:
But Meek is done posting memes or commenting on the situation, it seems, instead choosing the spotlight to announce that he’s donating water to Flint, Michigan, as that city faces a crisis of lead-contaminated water. He challenged 50 to match his donation of 60,000 bottles of water, but Fif hasn’t responded.
Meek, though, reportedly has made good on his plans to send water to those in need in the city, donating to the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan. He also reportedly gave to the to the Flint Child and Family Health Development Fund.
