The Villains Are Out To Play In New ‘Suicide Squad’ Trailer

See the 'worst heroes ever' raise some hell.

Real talk: We’ve had our share of world-saving, do-gooder superheroes. It’s time to bring on the bad guys.

After whetting our appetites with a short sizzle reel last summer, DC is back with the first official trailer for “Suicide Squad,” introducing us to the “worst heroes ever.”

The trailer, which aired Tuesday night during the CW’s “DC Films Presents: Dawn of the Justice League” special, gives us a closer look at the all-villain ensemble cast, led by lethal sharpshooter Deadshot (Will Smith) and the gleefully unhinged Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie).

Rounding out the gang of violent, hilarious and morally bankrupt hell-raisers are Boomerang (Jai Courtney), Slipknot (Adam Beach), Diablo (Jay Hernandez), Killer Croc (Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje), Enchantress (Cara Delevingne), Katana (Karen Fukuhara), and Rick Flag (Joel Kinnaman). They’re all tapped by the government to form a black ops task force that has very little chance of survival — not that that’ll keep them from going balls to the wall on every mission.

Expertly soundtracked by Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody,” the trailer lets us see the squad break out from behind bars, smash windows and ignite fires. Harley wants to “kill everyone and escape.” Enchantress wants to "do something fun.” And Jared Leto’s scheming Joker? Well, he just wants to show you his “toys.” Eeeeek.

“Suicide Squad” tears into theaters Aug. 5.
