Kanye West Reveals His 'Idol' In A Midnight Tweet

The rapper is a night owl just like you.

Kanye West is nothing if not multi-talented. Whether he is designing new fashion lines or producing tracks for Sia and Rihanna, he stays busier than most other superstars in the game.

It comes as no surprise, then, that Kanye expects other people to work on Kanye Time. And what exactly equals Kanye Time? Any time = Kanye Time. In a series of late-night tweets, Kanye pledged his allegiance to the night owls of the world, sharing his displeasure with those who think they’re "too important or too good or too traditional" to take a 3 a.m. phone call.

Kanye also paired the tweet with another featuring a film clip of Steve Jobs in the documentary "Steve Jobs: The Man in the Machine" and calling him his idol.

Jobs, like Kanye, was something of a perfectionist workaholic too, working tirelessly long hours and going back to the drawing board to make the best machinery and technology possible. So although those 3 a.m. phone calls might seem like a nuisance, in the long run, they just might make a lot of sense trying to understand Kanye’s artistic process and the much anticipated release of Yeezy's next record, SWISH.
