Vanessa Hudgens Is A Hot Rod In This New 'Grease: Live' Glimpse
Vanessa Hudgens is ready to show us all her edgier side as Betty Rizzo, decidedly the baddest girl on the '50s high school scene, in "Grease: Live." Which is a refreshing shift from her long-time run as the goody two shoes type in "High School Musical," so bring it.
VHudge's character poster for the three-hour Fox special -- which will feature her as the smart-talking Pink Ladies leader alongside Julianne Hough, Aaron Tveit, Keke Palmer, Carly Rae Jepsen and Boyz II Men -- has been revealed, and we can now safely say that she's got the Rizzo 'tude on lock here. Just look at that cut-you-with-all-the-words expression she's got going on here. Excellent.
Thanks to the shimmy-centric teaser the network shared in November, we also know that she's going to be busting out some serious moves like so:
But just in case there's any remaining doubt that Vanessa's going to give being bad a good go, she and Keke Palmer -- who plays Marty Maraschino, a similarly risque character (for the times) because she's hopelessly devoted to way older men -- hit the halls with M.I.A.'s "Bad Girls" to give us a preview of their new gritty grind.
"Grease: Live" premieres on Sunday, January 31.
