Treat Yo Self To This 'Revenant' And 'Parks And Rec' Mash-Up

It's better than waffles.

This is why we love the internet.

A couple of days ago, a writer-comedian named Demi Adejuyigbe noticed a unique connection between Alejandro Iñárritu's "The Revenant" and NBC's now-retired (sob) "Parks and Recreation" -- you know, aside from the fact that there's all the outdoorsy wilderness stuff and sex bears.

In "Parks and Rec," the fictional setting of Leslie Knope (Amy Poehler)'s ascent to political prominence is Pawnee, Indiana, while "The Revenant" heavily features the real-life tribe that would have inspired that name, Pawnee Nation.

So, instead of letting that little observation fall asunder, Adejuyigbe decided to try his hand at compiling the two very different pieces of entertainment and BOOM, it's more awesome than Ron Swanson's "all the bacon and eggs you have" breakfast order.

Somehow, a roll-out of the character line-up in the frontier drama in the "Parks and Rec" intro format works swimmingly well, and we can almost forget how super duper serious all these guys are here.

Many prizes for you, Demi Adejuyigbe. You've made us as happy as the day Ron Swanson did the drunk dance.
